Jacky’s short radio play ‘Facing Up’ was one of the winners of the Script Yorkshire Radio Competition 2024-25. The play is about a young woman whose job as a debt management call handler forces her to face her own personal battles.
This is a powerful scenario, with the contrast of Mr Brooks’ dilemma and Jodie’s own story and an awareness of how perilous so many people’s financial positions currently are.
